The Malaysia’s NU Branch Board reportedly conducted last July a prospective cooperation with New Technology Innovation Sdn Bhd (NTI), one of Malaysia’s private telecommunication companies in preaching simple short message system.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Drs. Zam Zam Affandi, the chairman of Malaysia’s NU lawmaking body and H Affaindi Abdullah, Director of the telecommunication company at the NTI office, located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

“This is important for NU followers in particular, because through this program they can perform such good deeds and it can be cooler and consolation,” Zam Zam told NU Online.
At the same time, Ahmad Mu’idi Rof’I said that the program should be handled through professional and well-organized mechanism from special teams set up by the Malaysia’s NU.
“By all accounts, this is the initial program, carried out by both NU and NTI combining between preaching and technology,” he added. (syim)
