IPNU to remind govt of organizing fund allocation on education exactly

Jakarta, NU Online Nahdlatul Ulama Students Association (IPNU) welcomed the decision of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to raise educational budget that would reach 20 percent of the total state budget for 2009. Though the decision has come a bit late, it would be such a "fresh wind" in improving educational quality in Indonesia. General Chairman of the IPNU Idy Muzayyad said the proposed education budget should always be monitored to avoid any unexpected misuse.

Jakarta, NU Online The House of Representatives (DPR) hoped that the government heed the Constitutional Court`s decision demanding the government to allocate budget amounting to at least 20 percent from the State Budget and Regional Budgets (for the education sector), the House speaker said. Hasyim says Nahdliyin split has nothing to do with his support for Khofifah
