Leeds, NU Online The NU delegates participating in a training of school education management in the University of Leeds met with Leeds Faiths Forum on Wednesday. The development worker of the forum Afshan Tabassum said that her organization was a membership one open to faith groups and numbers of groups, agreed by the Forums Council.
Tehran, NU Online Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said here Tuesday that sanctions imposed on the country were illegal and undermined the authority of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Padang, NU Online An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale shook some towns and districts in West Sumatra on Tuesday, a local meteorological and geophysics agency (BMG) said. Epicenter of the quake which occurred at 10.58 a.m. was located 0?48 degrees south latitude and 100?3 degrees east longitude, four km below the land in Padang Panjang town, local BMG head Emrizal said.
Jayapura, NU Online Papua Governor Barnabas Suebu has made a commitment to improving the quality of nine-year basic education in the province. "We allocate more fund from Special Autonomy budget this year to improve the quality of education in remote villages in the Indonesia’s easternmost province of Papua," the governor said here on Monday.
