Korean Islamic body seeks help from NU

Jakarta, NU Online A South Korean Islamic organization has sought help from Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), the largest Muslim organization in Indonesia, to secure the release of South Korean hostages in Afghanistan, the South Korean Embassy in Jakarta said. "The Korean Islam Foundation in the Republic of Korea has sent two letters to Nahdlatul Ulama... to help release the Korean hostages in Afghanistan by conveying their message to Muslim people in Afghanistan," the Embassy said in a press release sent to The Jakarta Post on Friday.
