Bojonegoro people question accountability of comdev fund

Bojonegoro, NU OnlineLocal inhabitants of Bojonegoro, East Java Province, Tuesday evening, heatedly debated the accountability of community development (Comdev) fund provided from the operation of the Sukowati oil and gas well. As reported by the national news agency Antara, hundreds of villagers present in the meeting discussing the Comdev, demanded that the Community Working Team (TKM), which has so far managed the fund, to be discharged.

President to break fast with al-Qodiri boarding school students

Jember, NU OnlinePresident Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is expected to break the fast together with students of the Al Qodiri Islamic Boarding School after having a dialogue with  farmers in  Semboro district on Sunday afternoon. A spokesman of the Jember district administration , DG Tarigan, told ANTARA on Saturday  the President’s schedule in Jember would be started at 2.30 pm with a dialogue with tobacco, rice and sugar cane farmers.

President SBY to visit Jember

In the afternoon, the president, accompanied by first lady Ani Yudhoyono and Agriculture Minister Anton Apriantono, would grant a development fund for the construction of a health service post at Al Qodiri Islamic boarding school.
