SBY: Back to the 45 Constitution is not a Matter of Courage

IPNU, IPPNU Congress Conducted jointly

The two NU students associations have a commitment to distribute their best to NU. IPNU Congress XV and IPPNU’s XIV will be held in Jakarta for four days (9 to 12 July 2006). The opening ceremony will be conducted in Asrama Haji Pondok Gede, Bekasi, and will be opened by the General Chairman of the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) KH Hasyim Muzadi and the Minister of Youth and Sports.

It will focus on discussing religious fundamental issues (bahtsul masa’il diniyyah maudluiyyah) related to decision making within NU organization. The forum will discuss 5 important things, such as NU frame of thinking (fikrah nahdliyyah), globalization, universalism, human rights in light of NU perspective, changing four school of thoughts of Islamic jurisprudence (talfiq), implementation on taking Islamic law, and referred books (kutub al-mu’tabaroh).
